Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Thank you for supporting my artwork and this tiny one-person creative studio. Every thing is handled by me, from drawing to packing to emails, so if something isn’t quite right, I’ll always work with you to fix it. I just ask for a little patience while I sort things out.
30-Day Return Window
If there’s a problem with your order, you have 30 days from receiving it to request a return.
Your item must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging.
To start a return, please email andrewdread@gmail.com.
Approved returns should be sent to:
181 Cambridge Road
Hitchin, Hertfordshire
SG4 0JP
United Kingdom
Items sent back without contacting me first won’t be accepted.
Unless the item is faulty or damaged, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Giclée Canvas Prints — Made-to-Order Items
My canvas prints are premium giclée prints, produced individually for each customer by my print partner, Printumo.
Because these prints are made-to-order, they fall under the “custom goods” exemption of UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
This means I can only accept returns for canvas prints if there is a defect, damage, or print quality issue — not for change-of-mind.
If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies, you’re always welcome to email me.
Postcards — Stock Items
Postcards are kept in stock and shipped directly by me.
As standard retail goods, they fall under normal UK distance-selling rules.
Customers may return postcards within 14 days for any reason (including change-of-mind) provided they are in their original, unused condition.
Damaged, Misprinted, or Quality Issues (All Products)
If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a quality issue, please:
-
Email andrewdread@gmail.com as soon as possible
-
Include clear photos of:
-
the damaged or faulty area
-
the full product
-
the packaging (especially if it arrived damaged)
-
This photographic evidence is required by Printumo for canvas prints, and it helps me resolve everything quickly.
Replacements for damaged or faulty items are provided at no additional cost.
Cancellations
Canvas Prints (Made-to-Order)
Because each canvas print is created individually for you, cancellations are only possible before production begins.
If you need to cancel, email me straight away at andrewdread@gmail.com.
Once production or dispatch has started, cancellation isn’t possible.
In that case, you may still be able to request a return once the item arrives (subject to the conditions above).
Postcards (Stock Items)
Postcards can be cancelled at any time before they have been dispatched.
International Orders & Import Fees
If ordering from outside the UK, your country may charge customs duties or import taxes. These are not refundable, including in the case of returns.
Return shipping for international orders is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
European Union — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If your order is shipped to the EU, you may cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason.
-
For stock items (such as postcards), this right applies in full.
-
For made-to-order canvas prints, if the item has already entered production or been dispatched by the time you request cancellation, the order can no longer be cancelled under the withdrawal right. In this case, you will need to follow the standard returns process once the item arrives.
All items must be returned in their original condition and packaging with proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, I’ll email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Banks or card providers may take additional time to complete the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please get in touch.
A Note From Me
This little shop is a very small extension of my art practice — run by one person, with care and attention. Thank you for your patience while I get back to you and sort things out. I always want you to feel good about your print and your experience.
