Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting my small art practice. I run this shop alongside my studio work, so your order and any communication with me are handled personally.

1. Order Processing Times

Original Paintings

Original paintings are packed and dispatched directly by me from my studio in the UK.

Processing time: 1–3 business days.

If for any reason an artwork requires longer to prepare for shipping, I’ll contact you directly.

Canvas Prints

All canvas prints are made to order through my print partner, Printumo.

Production time: usually 1–2 business days.

Once produced, your print is shipped directly to you from the fulfilment centre. You’ll receive tracking information when your order has been dispatched.

Postcards

Postcards are packed and dispatched directly by me from the UK.

Processing time: 1–3 business days.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

UK

  • Original paintings: typically 2–5 business days after dispatch
  • Canvas prints: typically 2–5 business days after production
  • Postcards: typically 1–3 business days after dispatch

International

Delivery times vary by destination, but most orders arrive within:

  • Original paintings: 5–14 business days after dispatch via tracked international delivery
  • Canvas prints: 5–14 business days after production
  • Postcards: 5–10 business days via standard international mail

International delivery times may vary due to local carriers and customs processing.

3. Shipping Costs

Free delivery
All originals and canvas prints include free UK delivery. Free delivery is also available to selected international destinations across Europe, as well as Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Available destinations will be shown at checkout. If your country isn't listed, please get in touch and I'll see what I can arrange.

4. Tracking Information

  • Original paintings and canvas prints are sent with tracking. You’ll receive tracking information by email once your order has shipped.
  • Postcards may be sent using tracked or untracked services depending on the order size and destination.

5. Packaging

  • Original paintings are carefully packaged by me to protect them during transit.
  • Canvas prints are securely packaged by Printumo in protective packaging.
  • Postcards are sent in rigid protective mailers or envelopes to help prevent bending.

6. Customs, Duties & Import Fees (International Customers)

International orders may be subject to customs processing, import duties or local taxes.

Any such charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are determined by the destination country. Unfortunately, I cannot control or predict these charges.

Import duties, taxes and other customs charges are not refundable if an item is returned.

7. Print-on-Demand Production: How It Works

To reduce waste, canvas prints are produced individually when you order.

  1. You place your order through my website.
  2. Your order is sent to my print partner, Printumo.
  3. Your canvas is normally produced within 1–2 business days.
  4. It is shipped directly to you.
  5. You receive tracking information once it has been dispatched.

8. Delivery Problems

If your order is delayed, appears to be stuck in transit, or is marked as delivered but hasn’t arrived, please contact me at andrewdread@gmail.com.

I’ll investigate the delivery and do what I can to resolve the problem.

9. Incorrect Addresses & Failed Deliveries

Please check your delivery address carefully when ordering.

If an order is returned because of an incorrect address or failed delivery attempt, I can arrange redelivery once the item has been returned to me or my fulfilment partner. Additional shipping costs may apply.
